The rewards of the journey far outweigh the risk of leaving the harbor. ~ Anon

*sigh* ... yes, take your time, I've got all day. All the time in the world. No where else to go...

Two floors, that is, to a different flat in the same building. As mentioned previously we had just purchased a car, and due to an administrative error we had no where to park it (a slight inconvenience!). We thus had to give our two month's notice and find a flat that *did* have parking.

So there I am one day, working away in the living room innocently trying to make the world of online investing a better place, when suddenly I thought I heard someone turning a key in the door. I've heard the neighbours go in and out before, but this time it seemed a bit louder. "Hmmm, the front hall really carries the sound quite clearly," I thought to myself. I kept working, but also kept hearing sounds, as if someone was chatting outside the front door. I was curious and got up to go look out the peep hole. I walked out of the living room and stepped back in shock. Am I seeing things, or are there people in our bedroom? I blinked, and yes, they were still there. In fact, they were looking into the ensuite, idly commenting on the colour of the tiles!

"Uhhhh, can I help you??" I asked. There were then some very wide eyes, a sudden sucking in of breath, and (what turned out to be) a very red-faced real estate agent blurting out apologies that she'd tried to contact me and this and that and the other thing. We had just cancelled our tenancy not two days ago, and it never occurred to me that it would even be on the market yet, let alone have people come through without asking!!

Well at least it's good to know I'm not going insane :) Either that or discover a second family living in the walls.

You don't often have people roaming through your house? We have strangers pop by all the time, I think there may be someone living in the storage closet.

Did you tell them that you like to crunch up potatoe chips on the floor and slide around?

Dude, why would I need to tell them when the potato chips were in full evidence all over the floor? You guys were on to something!

Those real estate agents certainly don't waste any time, but that's pretty freaky!
