I shall be telling this with a sigh somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I - I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. ~ Robert Frost

Hi Melody and Simon! I've really enjoyed seeing all your pictures! I especially like the ones of Arwyn, your little bear cub in the snow! The guy going tobogganing in the blow up pool was good too!! We have snow today, Mon April 6th! I'm glad you got a lot too as I'm sure you must miss it!! I can see why you would love London but remember your home is here!!! Grace

Hey Simon and Melodie, I'm not sure if you remember me, I'm Tim and Mark's sister. I probably know you better than you know me, because I hear Tim and Steph talk about you frequently. Anyway, I just looked through all the pictures of your gorgeous baby girl and, I LOVE the captions! It made for very interesting viewing and reading. Well, just wanted to say Hi and congratulations on your baby girl! You guys did a great job! =0 Joia =0)

Glenn Moore (a bit south of you at present)
Wonderful to have the ability Simon/Melody to write your thoughts like this - ahead of parenthood! I guarantee you WON'T have time for it and parenting - and studying and being that special hubby/wife to each other! It just won't happen! So, as 'an elderstatesman' as you put it, here is some advice: 1. Take time NOW to enjoy that wife/husband afresh - yes, every day, with every groan and every sigh - enjoy the time together NOW! 2. Take lots of time for the scriptures together and alone! You will have TO MAKE TIME later and the rest of that life of yours! 3. Enjoy the fact that a new life will be coming into your lives together - and make fresh promises to each other and to the Lord on behalf of this 'child' - Hannah like - for 'this child I prayed'! Will write something more later, Glenn

Hey Simon,

How is everything? Being the computer expert that I am I have to thank you for making this easy. Did you know ...... if anyone in the world types Simon Wallis on google your web page is up first! I have to say that I'm rather impressed, I imagined myself scrolling through endless pages of 8,569,453 results for Simon Wallis just to get this page.

Anyway hope all is well, and I presume that you will get this message at some point ... just wanted to say that I recently found out my senior partner Paul Ast worked regularly with your dad on Four Seasons all around the world. He spoke very highly of him. He was interested to find out that my "friend who moved to London" was his son.

All for now, good juck with elle-junior!! Life will change soon enough ..... just enjoy what's left ..... oh yes and don't focus on this learning hogwash too much .... it will all leave you very suddenly anyway once things start to happen.

Jeff

Hi Simon & Mel.. got connected to you through heaven4sure.. and although you probably don't remember me, here's a few bits and pieces to spark your memory. I'm cousin to John Clingen, Dave Clingen, Mark Clingen, niece to Harry Clingen.. if any of those names ring a bell? I'm also a good friend of Cynthia's, and recall Simon being one of the 'uni groupies' that ran with Stephen V, Darryl P and a few others who's names I don't remember. I also met you, Mel, a few times during visits to NB/NS with Joan McC.. she and I became good friends after I immigrated from Ireland and she sort of introduced me to the Maritimes. Anyways, there's a couple of reasons I'm wanting to get in touch.. first off, congratulations on the pregnancy.. I've been following your website for a few years now and am very excited about your news. And little girls are SOOOO fun.. I have two, so have a little bit of experience! Secondly, I wanted to share a business opportunity (UK based) with you and see if you'd be interested. Anyways, take a minute to email me and I'd really appreciate it! And oops.. sorry for the LONG comment! Susanne
